Redesigning an educational portfolio for a university research group

Universities focus on research and publications to climb in international rankings and attract more funding. Universities also focus on attracting more students for the same reasons. The result is an increasing pressure on the staff to spend more time on research while having to teach more students.

Current approaches to teaching were designed in an earlier era and might not fit current requirements anymore, leading to sick staff, unsatisfied students, and, in the end, deans or management teams making educational decisions for the research group rather than the group managing their education on time themselves.

We help university groups to redesign their educational portfolio such that it can handle a much larger number of students, well-balancing the educational styles, didactics and objectives, while reducing the involvement of staff.
