Renée Veldman-Tentori, MA
Hello, I’m Renee and I love to connect, communicate and educate.
Since 2014, I’ve taught marketing and communications at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. I really enjoy working with students from all around the world in both the Bachelor and Masters programmes. I have also recently joined the team to teach teachers, and find the theory of education fascinating.
Alongside my part time teaching, I have been a freelance trainer for more than a decade in Australia and now the Netherlands via my consultancy, Zestee. My focus has often been on social media - I was an early trainer on these trends and it’s been interesting to watch them develop. I see a lot of similarities and connections between the growth of social media and online learning.
I’m particularly excited about “EdTech”, where education and technology come together to offer students more flexibility and personalisation. I wrote my Master’s thesis on “How can elearning enhance study success at The Hague University of Applied Sciences?” and am currently working on blog posts and a book about the EdTech Explosion and the impact it has on learning.
It’s great to be able to partner with Living Motion, I’m impressed by the courses and services they offer and together as a team we can learn a lot from each other. Though we work worldwide, it’s great to actually live in the same neighbourhood as Alexander and Suzan!
Originally from Australia, I am now based in The Hague, The Netherlands, where I am raising two global citizens. Some activities are running, blogging and building online communities.
