Introduction to Problem Solving
Get a light, hands-on introduction to the foundations of good problem solving.
Introduction to Problem Solving
A playful but powerful entry point into structured thinking.
Even experienced teams sometimes get stuck in surface-level problem solving—jumping to solutions before really understanding the issue. This session offers a safe, engaging space to slow down, reflect, and explore how you think about problems.
What This Session Helps With
Use this session when:
Your team wants a first taste of structured problem solving
People jump too quickly to solutions—or talk in circles
There’s confusion between symptoms, causes, and actual problems
You want to introduce analytical thinking without it feeling heavy
You’re preparing for a more in-depth journey later
What Happens
This half-day session blends play with insight. Your team works with a tactile, card-based Serious Game based on a playful but realistic case. The game introduces ideas like abstraction levels, multiple stakeholder perspectives, and the distinction between the problem space and the solution space.
Throughout the session, we pause to reflect, map perspectives, and sketch early conceptual or causal models. Participants are supported by generative AI, which helps them reframe, explore alternate angles, and break through their habitual thinking patterns.
This is not a theoretical session. It's hands-on, interactive, and designed to create language, energy, and shared curiosity.
